Training Approach

ImStrat’s training course mission is to professionally educate students who can then:

  • Provide national security organizations with highly trained and competent analysts to immediately support effective Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations.
  • Empower national security organizations with an “independent  intelligence analyst capability”.

ImStrat Corporation’s training programs are developed and delivered by geospatial and geospatial intelligence Subject Matter Experts (SME’s). Our SME’s have extensive education and experience nationally and internationally. ImStrat’s training courses are renowned for their structured and methodical design, development and delivery. Our course offerings undergo extensive Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) as outlined in the figure below.

More importantly, every course offered is based on a series of learning outcomes that reinforce the students' understanding of concepts (basic and advanced), knowledge and newly acquired skills.

While ImStrat has prepared in great detail its training course offerings, we refine our courses with our clients to establish the course objectives, identify the learning outcomes and determine how these outcomes will be achieved. This approach, combined with our SME’s, will define the course learning objectives. ImStrat prepares succinct learning outcomes that may include several or all of the following levels of understanding:

  • Knowledge
  • Comprehensive
  • Application
  • Analysis
  • Synthesis
  • Evaluation

Finally, ImStrat will evaluate how these “learning outcomes” are achieved through a combination of tests or assignments.

  • Written Tests
  • Practical Assignments
  • Practical Tests
  • Class Participation
